parallel worlds
obsessive surrealism
"......the music of parallel worlds is a combination of dreamy, atmospheric textures and pure analogue
electronic rhythms and sequences, combining the feel of 70?s electronic music with modern electronica and ambient music. sirros uses huge
analogue modular instruments and analogue step sequencers of the past and present combined with digital fm, virtual analogue synths and
sampling. however he manages to elude the fate of many of his contemporaries in not falling into the trap of simply recycling the past. he
creates a music that lives and breathes, imbued with his own personality and mannerisms..." - din. this cd features a lot of doepfer a-100 modular and is highly recommended by analogue haven.

arc of passion
autographed copies of this 2cd set recorded live and "on the fly" at analogue haven on 07.07.07. this stunning 2cd set shows steve at the top
of his game. our webmaster calls this album one of the best - if not the best - steve roach album he's ever heard. to quote him directly, "steve's at his best - and most
rocking - when in front of a live audience. you won't believe that this is a live recording - that's how beautiful it is. the sound is impeccable, and steve really throws
caution to the wind as he puts forth his mastery of everything he's been doing for close to 30 years. take notes, younger em generation, as daddy's home to teach you some new
tricks. clearly, this is beyond an essential recording in the roach catalogue." strong words, indeed.
price : $17.00

empetus (remaster)
the rights to steve's 1986 release empetus reverted back to him, and this along with some recently discovered "lost pieces" inspired a 2-cd
collectors edition. the second disc, "the early years", features two amazing long-form sequencer pieces circa 1982. the first piece, "harmonia mundi" was recorded live in the
l.a.-based timeroom with swiss-born electronic musician thomas ronkin. at 45 minutes, this is one of the more possessed and intense analog sequencer trance pieces you're likely
to hear. "release" is a 24-minute solo statement of emotion and energy connected to the early years of steve's evolution in sound, harkening to now and traveler. by the time
empetus was released, the approach of these longer german school styles were morphing into a new sound heard on empetus and beyond.
